Three days, every five years, the McCarthys come back to one another. Here's how the gathering works.
A weekend held together by twenty-five years of practice
The McCarthy Family Reunion has gathered descendants of Patrick Francis and Mary Ann Cecelia McCarthy every five years since 2002. We come from across the country and for one long weekend in summer we're all at the same table again.
The next reunion is hosted by The Sevens, the seventh-generation cousins, at Turf Valley Resort in Ellicott City, Maryland, the weekend of July 16–18, 2027.
Four things to know
Registration is per-event
The big banquet, the golf scramble, the kids' programs, each with its own sign-up. Pick what your family wants to do; nothing is mandatory.
The Green Book is alive
Our family directory is updated by you. Add your branch, fix Aunt Margaret's address, tell us about the new baby. Submissions are reviewed by the host family.
Book your room at Turf Valley
The reunion is hosted at Turf Valley Resort in Ellicott City, MD. A room block is being arranged for reunion guests. Group code and booking details coming soon.
